We all carry physical and emotional pain, from minor discomforts to overwhelming suffering. This dance installation gives form to pain through movement, exploring how we confront and live with it. Lili Stern embodies this struggle, interacting with inflatable “pain bags” in a visceral, evocative performance.

Their music in modern dresses is deeply connected with the threads and joys of bygone times, melodies seem to be familiar calling out emotions. The songs are composed of rewritten traditional elements and improvisation, are old-fashioned and modern at the same time. People feel close to this music from Odessa to New York.
